Fiqh of Banks and modernized contracts 

This workshop discusses the Islamic jurisprudence rules for our daily financial deals including bank-related and contemporary contracts such as credit transactions and mortgages.  

This workshop will consist of 10 weekly online classes with a rich content prepared and presented to you by Sh. Hassan Abul-Azm. These classes will aim to first define the rules of financial contracts in Islam and what is considered Halal or Haram. The study will deliver different Islamic points of view reported by scholars in previous and modern times. We will use the discussed rules to understand how we apply to our modernized monetary contracts.
